The development involved the demolition of existing garages and the erection of a four storey building comprising 14 affordable self-contained flats (3 x 1 bed, 9 x 2 bed and 2 x 3 bed), new community centre and a sub-station with associated car and cycle parking spaces, bin stores and landscaping. Energy efficiency measures include a well-insulated building fabric, high levels of air tightness and mechanical ventilation with heat recovery.

The new building positioned immediately backing onto the London Overground railway line. We were therefore in close liaison with the area Asset Protection Manager from Network Rail throughout.
